I did it! I didn’t think I could, but I did! I ran 5 min and walked 1 min for 5 sets. The route I took takes me up a (what I call big) hill on my last run set…. at the beginning of the run. Ugh! I almost punked out but kept moving. I’m still pacing about a 12 minute mile which is nothing to write home about, but speed will come. First goal, run 30 minutes. Almost there!!!

It finally stopped raining enough to go run. And running 4 minutes felt pretty good! Again, still slow, but the length of time I can run is getting longer and my recovery time is getting shorter.

Today was my 2nd 3:3 ratio. The run was much easier, but I’m not impressed with my pace. At least I got out though!

Running with the jogging stroller is SLOWer! Today was my first run3 walk3. I’m looking forward to being in shape enough that I can run a full 30 minutes again. I read the “couch to 5k” training method and liked it, but I can’t keep up with all the intervals! So I’ll keep my slow and steady increase of 1 minute/week running. Only 3 more weeks until I’m running a full 30 minutes!

I used our double jogger for the first time today. The baby liked the infant sling and toddler loved being in the stroller with the baby. I’m still doing walk/jog intervals working my way back to running full workouts but today went ok. Jogging with a stroller shortens my pace, though! I can’t use my arms to stride. At least I got out!
