Daily Stretch

Along with my daily 10 strength moves, I’m going to run through my basic dance stretches each day.  Probably should hold each one longer, but for today, a little “dab” will have to do!

Daily Strength

So every day, I try to get in 10:

push ups, tricept dips, bicept curls, kickbacks, lat pulls, rows, sit ups, situp-twists, pelvic lifts (with baby on legs), leg extensions (with baby on legs), squats (holding baby), lunges (holding baby) and plank to a count of 10.

I may not get anywhere fast with this, but I’ll get somewhere!

Hillsx4

We walk/jogged to the park, played for a few minutes, then walk/jogged home.  Then I did 4 hill sets: run up the hill from our house about 100m, jog down the hill, repeat.

Toddler was being quite the “toot” so I almost skipped my run and just took her to the park.  But I decided when we got home that she could survive for 4 hills.  I bribed her with pop-corn during dinner… ok, bribe is a strong word.  I told her that we should have pop-corn since mom was popping up the hill and back down.  She thought that was funny and it seemed to keep the screaming to a minimum.  Alright, it was a bribe.
