The wind was BLOWING, I have been sick, I’m getting about 3-4 hours of sleep each night (teething/sick baby)…. excuses, excuses. I ate too much and hydrated too little over the last few days. I’ll be running again tomorrow if I can!

Went for a quick run today. A slow, easy pace with the hubby. It was cold (about 30) and so I had my first run in the cold practice. I’ve decided I need to learn to run in the cold so I can run when I’m back in AK but can’t make it to the gym.
So… a hat and light gloves today. Think I’ll wear my ski-mouth-mask-thing next time until I can warm up my lungs. Also had on my HH thermals with running-capri and shirt over. Any colder and I’d like my perfrom fleece too. Also need warmer shoes/socks.
Any suggestions from anyone?

Tried to run today. Did fine the first mile then died and had to go home. Turns out my cold is worse than I thought.

I ran 5.7 for 3 min then 6.2 for 1 min until min 15 - I ran 6.2 for 2 min then 6.0 for 3 min. It was easier than I thought and I’m looking forward to the next speed intervals!

My first run after biking. Went pretty well! Legs were a bit rubbery at first, but then got better.
